Theatre Wit’s demise is greatly exaggerated
Chicago’s Theatre Wit is easily found on Google, but Google seems to think that either Theatre Wit is a bit more avant garde than generally known, or that they have suffered the financial fate of so many theatres in the last few years.
Despite what Google may think, this theatre isn’t buried.Theatre Wit is located at 1229 W. Belmont, formerly the Bailiwick Arts Center (located over a mile and a half south of this cemetery), offices at 4720 N. Winchester (which is about a 1/2 mile west of this cemetery). They are also fully alive, and have a nice little season planned, which includes moving into their new building.
Almost demands a Halloween show, doesn’t it?
